Brief Answer:
it needs evaluation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I went through the details with diligence. This patient has been on bed for 3 months. Immobilization risks her to develop urinary tract infection. Now, the symptoms of pain and difficulty in passing urine are suggestive of urinary tract infection. In this circumstance, I would order an urine test - routine and culture as well as an ultrasound scan to determine the cause of problem.

I will recommend discussing with her treating doctor and get the test done at the earliest.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards

Brief Answer:
Specific treatment based on test results...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand the problem and empathize with her situation. However specific treatment is based on tests results. It's important to know what type of infection (if any) and the organs involved. Treatment is going to be based on test results.

You may try Syp Citralka 1 tsp in a glass of water three times a day for a day or two. If the pain is unbearable, tab ultracet (paracetamol + tramadol) may benefit her. This is a prescription medication.

Hope it's clear. Let me know if you need any other information.
