Dear Dr. Papaqako, Thank you for your response. I agree with your assessment. I will try the 3 times a day dose of Metformin at 500 mg per dose. The 1000mg tablets are easy to break in half. The daily doses will equal a total of 1500 mg a day instead of the 2000mg a day I am taking now. S.E.
