What Causes White Thick Discharge On Wiping During Pregnancy?
Hi I'm 38+4 and have been having white thick discharge sometimes yellow when I wipe. What does this mean? I have been getting lots of movements of baby. On Wednesday I went to hospital and midwife said I was not yet engaged. I've been getting a bit of ab pain not sure if it's contractions
Hi, Thanks for the query. Vaginal discharge increases during pregnancy. This is called physiological leuchorrhea. For more details: http://srsree.blogspot.com/2013/12/physiological-leuchorrhea.html If you are having itching, foul smell etc, there is possibility of infection. In that case better to get examined once. In case of first pregnancy, engagement of the head can be expected on around 38 to 39 weeks. But it may not be seen in all primies. From second pregnancy onwards descent of the head can get delayed. If severity and frequency of pain increases, better to consult gynecologist once and get examined. Take care.
