I have had strep throat symptoms for the past three months the three test I have had have all been negative. My symptoms have included a bright red throat white on both sides of tonsils yellow like pocket on the back of throat. Barely any pain. I had strep throat a lot as a child and now I am in my 30s. I have been on three courses of penicillin I have had a one shot of Rocephin. My symptoms keep coming back. Could this mean I am a carrier of strep? I do suffer from tonsil stones however that has not been my issue in the last few months. Getting my tonsils out right now is not an option for me. Thank you for your feedback.
