Ankle Is Swollen, Pain In The Foot. Hurts While Walking. What Could Be The Reason?

I have pain on top of my left foot on the left side of the foot underneath the bottom of my foot and my foot is numb and my ankle is sore what might have caused this to cause a problem this to walk or it causes pain when I'm walking pain when I get out of my bed or chair and pain while standing for a long time on my foot please let me know what can I do to make it better

hi i am dr usman
well there can be a number of causes resulting in your condition.
1. if there is no history of trauma then it may be due inflammatory conditions like rheumatoid, bursitis, tendinitis
2. you need to take good anti inflammatory drugs to start with like diclofenac.
3. keep your feet elevated ona pillow while sitting and sleeping
4. some times gentle massage with luke warm oil and topical analgesic cream also helps
