What Is The Cure For Swollen Tonsils, Lymph Nodes?

Yes, been to the doctor for what they believe is swollen lymph nodes, although I quit chewing tobacco I went to a party last night had a little to much fun and ended up chewing approximately half a can and this morning I felt pain on the left side of my tongue. After looking at the painful spot with a flashlight I noticed a spot on the very back left side of my tongue. I'm concerned and want to make sure I know what this problem is before its to late. Also my tonsils have been really swollen, antibiotics from the doctor seem to be healing my supposedly swollen lymph nodes. I'm still not convinced this is the answer. Help please!

Dear User!

Welcome to HCM!

Your history suggest you are having tonsillitis with local infection. You just need medical therapy i.e Antibiotics and pain killers to control the disease. Surgery is a last resort in tonsillitis. Your doctor is treating you very well. Until unless these tonsil don't cause your breathing problem and are uncontrolled by medication then next step will be surgery which is pretty much simple procedure.

Enjoy your life!
