What Could Be Done For Sharp Pain In Lower Back With History Of Operations For Skin Cancer?

I have been suffering from lower back pain on the left side for 8 plus weeks which consists of sharp pain above the left hip when walking and moving up and down, also when lifting I have severe sharp pain across the back - I have had in the last 2 yrs had operations for skin cancer - I am a 45 yr old male

your symptoms might be related to disc problem. When this is problem with intervertebral disc, it can impinge on nerve roots and cause shooting pains along the distribution of the nerve. pain can be felt on the back radiating down the limb. You need to be investigated further to locate the exact pathology
