The causes of backpain are multiple and varied. Some are:poor sitting posture , back muscle strain, excess weight, disc herniation, infection, fractured vertebrae, , menstrual cramps, uterine myomas etc. They are multiple and varied. Please seek consultation if it is worrisome to get an appropriate diagnosis and management plan.

If you have always had regular monthly cycles and are sexually active, you should get a HPT done with a fresh early morning sample to confirm/exclude pregnancy. A trans-vaginal sonogram and a specialist opinion should follow. Hope this helps.
