Is Prescribed Dosage Of Omnacortil Forte Syrup Correct For Child?
Hello,my child age is 8 years old.Weight-18.9kg.She is affecting from cough and our doctor suggested,Bricanyl syrup 6ml-3times a day till cough and omnacortil forte syrup 15mg/5ml,10ml -3 times a day for a four day only.My query is the dose of omnacortil forte syrup is correct or not and there are side effects of omnacortil forte.Plese give me your suggesion.

Dose of prednislone is 1to 2 mg/kg /day in 2-3 divided doses.
I suggest 4ml thrice a day.
It has no side effects when given for short duration.
