Hello Welcome in H.C.M. I have gone through your query regarding severe headache with ear ache in morning hours and mainly confined to back of head and above the aer level. This headache is not responding to aspirin and ibuprofen. Considering all aspects of your clinical history and no response of analgesic over headache it appears as this headache is most likely due to hypertension. As a rule hypertensive headache is more often felt in morning hours and that also at the back of head. Second possibility is for nurological headache associated with injury though there is no direct trauma to head but there are possibility of nural injury because of sudden jerk.
