Sore Hard Lump Around The Nipple. What Is The Remedy For This?

my son has a hard thickness about the size of a extra large egg, a complete circle around the nipple he noticed pain there when he was reaching over into the side of a truck bed! can you please advise? I am so worried! what steps need to be taken? thank you

Hi,

You have not mentioned the age of your son so that it would have helped better in making best possibility.

Even then if your son is of teenage then it is quite possible to have this nodule as simple pubertal change in him. There is pain and tenderness at the nipple site due to hormonal changes at this age.

As it is quite large in size so you can meet a family physician or a surgeon to confirm the same.

You can give pain killer tablet such as paracetamol or diclofenac for 1-2 times after meal in day.
