I Have MRSA Infection. Is It Because Of Surgery ?

I recently had back surgery to remove hardware that was put in 18 months ago when doing a fusion. My question is how and from what could I have gotten MRSA infection in my surgical site. I have had to have additional surgery to debri the sight. It has been a nightmare.

really unfortunate to note .its a infection due Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus ....occurs usually after surgeries....there r nowadays very effective drugs against them like linezolid /teicoplanins/daptomycin/.....so everything will b alright ..dont panic.
