Hello,
As you are diagnosed as having diabetes, your doctor has prescribes you metformin depending on your sugar levels.Headache may be associated with diabetes when there is increased blood sugar levels. But depending on dosage you are taking of metformin, its less likely because of this.
My suggestion is consult a medicine physician for this as this will need some elaboration.Headache with nausea may be associated with migrain also.So just have a visit to doctor and have complete checkup for correct diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this is helpful.Take care.
Thank you.
