Unprotected Sex On Last Day Of Periods. Bleeding. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hi, okay so last week I finished my period. Now it's not normal cycle. It kinda comes and goes as it pleases. I'm not on any birth control. So it was either the day I finished my period I believe and I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend finished inside me. I took the plan B pill that same day. It's been about 6-7 days and now I'm bleeding again and it's quite unusual because it's still somewhat heavy. Lately I've also had the urge to pee often too so I've been drinking a lot of cranberry juice in case it was a UTI. So I'm now just concerned if this is just a UTI or is it something more because I've had a UTI before and this isn't like the last one. Everything just seems different to me this time. Could I be pregnant or what's going on? Also, my boyfriend and I had sex again but this time we used condoms and we agreed to continue to use them. Only this time my bleeding continued whilst having sex and it was quite a bit. Usually if it were my period, it usually stops? I don't know. But please help and let me know what you think.

Hi,
The bleeding you are seeing now is most likely due to the emergency pill you have consumed and is therefore a breakthrough bleed. You should also get a urinalysis done to exclude urinary tract infection. Pregnancy is unlikely around the time of onset of the menstrual cycle and added to that, you have consumed the emergency pill, which makes it all the more a remote possibility. Please see a specialist for further management if your bleeding does not stop in a couple of days. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
