I took contraceptive im nd since then i have been bleeding pls help
If the bleeding has been persistent you would need styptics and progesterone supplements as a course for about 20 days to arrest the bleeding and induce a normal period. This should be done after a complete evaluation by a specialist and blood counts. Replacement of the contraception should be discussed with your consultant once the situation is under control. Hope this helps.
Hi. I have a 'Jadel' contraceptive chip in my arm During the last few months i have been having heavy periods every two weeks. What do you suggest i do?
Thanks for contacting healthcaremagic. Jadelle is a progesterone contraceptive devise, it is the side effect of progesterone. You need to take some tranexamic acid and mefenamic acid drugs to decrease bleeding.
