What Could Be The Possible Treatments For Skipped Heart Beats ?

Yet another question regarding skipped heart beats.. I'm a sixty y/o male, 6'6" 255, recently cardioverted (6 months ago) following an atrial-fibrillation/edema episode apparently viral induced (thought it was a recurring chest cold, hospitalized 8 months ago w/160 resting heart rate/weight 270, battery of tests for a week, cholesterol normal, arteries normal/unblocked, no family history, causal diseases, etc.). Diuretics took me down to 235 in 2 days (first time at that weight since I was 40 {grin}). Lots of heart meds, after release to control rate and pressure - after cardioversion (heart went from fibrillation to flutter 2 days before cardioversion), and monitoring drugs gradually reduced/eliminated - currently on Warfarin (INR stable at 2.5+/-) lisonopril, furosemide, metoprolol, aspirin, daily.
Weight gain from discharge to current was gradual and I suspect due to fatigue (body wants to eat to regain strength).. do not have the stamina and fortitude I used to have (OK, I'm 60 with a funky heart..) Daily pulse and BP monitoring, resting typically 105-125(S)/60-85(D), pulse 65-80 (often inverse relationship to BP). One of my fav activities has become afternoon nap {another grin}.
I have a long history of vasovagal susceptibility, once resulting in brief loss of consciousness, but mostly just dizzy/wobbly reaction, triggered by cough or extreme momentary exertion - always while sitting(!)
OK, enough history. Last few days my pulse in the morning has been regularly skipping a beat (around every 4th beat skipped). Evening OK. I don't feel it, the cuff picks it up, and I can confirm with manual pulse check. BP is normal and the pulse rate is typical (70+/-)

I have a scheduled appointment with my cardiologist in a week. Do I need to freak out and call the cardiologist now?
