My Husband Has Had Open Heart Surgery 7 Yrs Ago,

my husband has had open heart surgery 7 yrs ago, is now having a major problem breathing on oxygen 24/7 when he get up and takes a few steps he has major problem breathing, was put on advair and an inhailor and is still not doing good. would like to know if there is something i am able to buy over the counter that will help him, he is on dialysis now 3hours each 3 times a week.

I am so sorry to hear about what your husband is going through. From the information you have provided, I am concerned his health seems to be failing him and so very fast. These symptoms may be very suggestive of a heart failure. Dialysis suggest kidney failure and am afraid if he cannot get a transplant, we would not be able to salvage this situation. There is no OTC medication that can do magic here. Also, talk to his doctors and ask what the exact prognosis and goal of treatment is.
