Cold , Headache And Fever, OMEZ CAPSULES 20mg, OFLOMAC 200 And Zedex Cough Syrup

Hi! my husband is suffering from cold , headache and fever from past 3 days. Sometime the fever goes till 102 F as well. We consulted a doctor who prescribed OMEZ CAPSULES 20mg, OFLOMAC 200 and Zedex cough syrup for five days and paracetamol when in fever. However, i do not see any imprvement also i gave him the medicines three times a day rather than 2 times for 2 days. Kindly advise. Thanks

It looks like your husband is suffering from upper respiratory infection. He is prescribed antibiotics and cough syrup.

Antibiotics take a few days - 3 days to produce significant improvement in health. Taking 3 doses instead of 2 will not help in faster recovery. So avoid over dosing.

Instead try deep steam inhalation with essential oils like menthol / eucalyptus oil / karvol plus capsule thrice a day; take paracetamol 500mg thrice a day; warm fluids; plenty of fluids, vegetable and fruits; adequate rest and multivitamin pills. These will help in faster recovery.
