Normally teeth starts coming at age of 6 months, and most of the children do not have much problem.they may want to take something in there mouth to make them feel comfortable, give him something non toxic teether to chew, plenty of them are available as per the need. Some creams are available in market you just simply need to apply them to gums, but this will relieve pain for short time, so there is no special thing you need to do for teething pain.
