Xray Done, Multilevel Osteophytosis And Decrease In Bone Density. Numbness In The Front Thigh. Remedy?
Hello! Just got my xray saying ;L5-S1 dis is reduced with end plate sclorosis -straightening of lumber spine,Multilevel osteophytosis and generalized decreased in bone density ... Am I in serious trouble... Is there a remedy; medicine or therapies...... I was experiencing numbness in the front portion of my thigh and two fingers of my right leg. There was generally a feeling of heaviness in my leg and often tingling feeling... Thanx in anticipation
These symptoms are suggesting that you may be having a disc prolapse. I would recommend you to get MRI of the spine to see if there is a disc protrusion and if yes then how much . According to that you can plan . If it is in early stage then treatment will be physiotherapy and muscle relaxant and Pregabalin and Methylcobal.If it is in late stages then surgery is needed. Till that time, avoid bending forward and weight lifting.
