Would Taking Steroid Shot On Shoulder Effect Blood Sugar Count While Being On Nateglindiee?

I have type 2 diabetes and the doctor has recently changed my prescription to nateglindiee. Today I had am appointment with my orthopedic surgeion and he gave me a shot in my shoulder, some type of steriod. Would this effect the blood sugar count? I did overdo it at lunch today I had a reuben sandwich with a nice helping of french fries and some mints afterward.

It is because of one of the long term complication of Diabetes due to autonomic Neuropathy. In general body adapts very fast to change in posture of the body, but due to autonomic neuropathy this adaptation is deranged... This is the reason behind frequent fall in a diabetic patient due to quick change in posture...
