Hello,
From the menstrual history you have given, it does not appear that you have begun to have irregular periods; it appears as though you begun to have shortened cycles. Amount of bleeding tends to be less with shorter cycles usually because the estrogenic phase may be the shortened one most often and thus there is less time for the endometrium to thicken. Yet, since you think you are pregnant, it is ideal to clarify the issue by getting a trans-vaginal sonogram and an assessment of the serum beta-hCG titres. Hope this helps.
