Wisdom Tooth Cut From Lower Right Jaw, Facial Swelling, Ear Pain, Throbbing Headache. Treatment?
I had a wisdom tooth cut out it was my lower right jaw and now about three days I have bad swelling on the right side of my face pain into my ear almost like a earache and without taking hydrocode ten mg i dont think I would get any sleep is this normal because its awfully painful i even get a headache because of my face and teeth throbbing

Since you had undergone a complicated traumatic extraction procedure;Ear and throat infection,fever,headache are common symptoms associated with pre- and post extraction of wisdom tooth. I would suggest you to avoid anxiety and stressful jobs. Take rest for a minimum of 5-6 days. Maintain oral hygiene well. Gargle frequently using warm saline and betadine rinse. The socket has to be keep clean and dressing using povidine iodine solution can be done. Take complete course of antibiotics-analgesics too. Take care.
