Will whey protein harm my body?

Hi! I m 16 years old, almost 17 and i started bodybuilding a year ago. I didn t know much about diet but i wanna change that now. Therefore, one thing that would be perfect for my diet, since i don t know how to cook, is whey protein . It seems very useful and it has health benefits. I researched online and i have yet to find a side effect, besides the problems it may bring to lactose intolerants (which i m not). Anyways, my parents are very strict and just refuse to allow me to get the protein, even with my own money. They say it will harm me and kill me. I ve tried to take them to our doctor but they refused. I made a huge research online and they refused to actually see it, which makes me really sad. So i wanted a medical opinion on this subject. Would whey protein really kill me ? Or harm me? Thank you for your time!

Thank you for your query.

Whey proteing does not kill or harm anyone. However one needs to take supplements under proper guidance. Excess of everything is harmful. My suggestion would be to take your medical care provider in confidence and then take supplements.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
