Will The Cough And Cold Effect My Pregnancy?

hi i ve been sick with a cold since Monday March19, now it is Thursday March 30... The cold seem to have left but now at night before I go to bad I start coughing/ hacking really bad. I am 27 weeks pregnant with my first child and was wondering if it harms the baby in any way??

hi,untreated infections in the body can precipate premature labour hence very essential to treat.start tab cephalexin 500 mg twice a day for 5 days and take syrup chericof twice daily.take lozenges for symptomatic relief and do saline water gargles.all the best take care.
