Hi there,
Thanks for your query.
Irregular periods, difficulty in conceiving may be due to either, thyroid problem, hormonal imbalance, anemia, increased levels of Prolactin in the blood; or,
Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD).
Oxycodone does not interfere with ovulation. Test kits are available OTC to confirm if ovulation is taking place or not.
You should therefore undergo thorough evaluation, including ultrasound of reproductive system (uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries); Blood levels of Estrogen,
Progesterone,
Testosterone and Prolactin; Thyroid hormone and
hemoglobin levels.
You will feel completely reassured of there being nothing wrong with you, if all tests are negative/normal.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable/modified treatment as advised.
If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.
