Will Operation Cause Any Problem For Who Bone With No Tendon Achilles?
hi,im born with no tendon achilles.im 21 years old now my doctors here in the philippines advice not to have any operation done since i was able to walk without those tendon and that operation might cause me not to be able to walk.do you think i must comply to that advice eventhough i find it hard to walk because i am growing up.i am getting more tired now even when im just walking compared when i was younger.than you
if doctors are suggesting you surgery then there must be good chance that you will benefit from surgery although there might be chance that results are not good Remember your condition is very rare and rare disorder are difficult to treat as very less number of patients are there to follow up. I never came across any such case although I heard about absence of tendon in apes. please consider a different diagnosis or show to orthopedics surgeon for other opinion. Absent tendoachilles is unknown
