Will Nialid Eye Drops Cure Teredium?
Hi, this is Aireen Dumangeng from philippines... I went to the doctor last month to have some check up on my eyes the doctor said I have a teredium on my right eye he gave he nialid eye drops for 2 months... Then, my querry will be..is nialid eye drops cure my teredium? what are the causes of it and what should I do to prevent that teredium worsen?

It is not pteridium but pterigium It is non cancerous degenerative growth, There is no treatment available stop it growing or cure it. We should wait till it grow over pupil and obstruct vision. At that stage it should be surgically removed. The section should be fine surgical and treated with antibiotic drop.
