Will My Ear Recover From Less Hearing Caused By Slap?
Hellow, I've been slapped in the ear a couple months ago. At first my ear hurt and there was very noticeable less hearing, but now there's no more pain, but my ear still seems to have slightly less sharpness in hearing. Will it recover? Is there anything I can do?
I have gone through your query regarding loss of hearing by slap about 2 months back. You had recovered but still there is some noticeable hearing loss.
I would like to say that most of the time in slap ear drum gets ruptured abut fortunately healing power of ear drum is excillent and within 10 o 15 days most of the time complete recovery is noted. For good healing one should keep ear dry and clean and should avoid any ear drop or oil.
In your case already two months had passed therefore it appears there is some defect in ear drum so far. Now you have to consult your ENT specialist for thorough examination and plan for treatment.
Regards.
