Will Harnonal Injection Have Any Effect On Baby During Pregnancy?

my wife is 29 yrs and 8 weeks pregnant now....she was having primary ammenorrhea and got treated through harnonal injections ....although she is very normal but TVS last day releaved some bleeding inside...Fetus heartbeat was 162 BPM....is all this good....?? another I wanted to know that she is on progestrone injection'' susten 100'' daily and this pain a lot...pls suggested solutio for this pain

Hi,
I understand your concern.
The treatment for primary ammenorrhea do not have any chance of bleeding in early pregnancy.
Actually such bleeding in early week sof pregnancy is due to lac of pregnancy hormonal support ( Progesteron) to baby & same hormone is supplemented to your wife in form of Susten100.
The injection being oily in consistency is painful, so it is to be given in gluteal muscles deep intra muscularly. In addition a layer of thrombophobe ointment can be applied at the injection side .( Please note it is not to be applied on injured skin) this will relieve the pain.
