Will Being Blood Relatives Have Complications In Pregnancy?

hi sir, i have married to girl who is relative from my grand mother side ( i mean to say girl is my grandmother's sister's child). I have a doubt that we have same blood groups, do we have any complication during pregnancy...plz help me out from this...

Thanks for writing to health care magic.
I can understand your concern.

Being of the same blood group is not a problem. If a O group mother has some other blood group baby then there is chance of neonatal jaundice. Or if a rh negative mother has a positive baby then such scenario can occur. Being of the same blood group is of no problem. Marriage between close relatives increases the chances of some congenital problems.
