Will Abdominal Pain And Cough Due To Using Amoxycillin For Adult Tonsilitis Go Away ?

Hi I've recently just been in and out of the ER due to a high fever of 103.5 and my diagnosis was Adult Tonsillitis and my main concern is I've been on Amoxicillin for the past 3 days recently I just started experiencing abdominal pain and a minor cough. Is this normal and if so how long does this usually take to run its course? Also how long does it take before the Amoxicillin starts kicking in?
