Hello and welcome to HCM,
Infection with any hepatitis infection will lead to a positive hepatitis antigen test.
During the acute acute stage, hepatitis antigen is positive followed by a positive antibody test.
The antibody initially is Ig M type followed by Ig G type.
Thus, when acute infection subsides, the immunoglobulin G can come out to be positive.
At this stage, the immunoglobulins will come out to be positive.
A positive hepatitis test suggests fresh infection with the virus.

Thanks and take care
