Will A Colostomy Bag Sink In ?

I change a friends colostomy bag twice a week.and she told me today that she had quite of blood in her bag this am.i also noticed the stoma looks darker red then normal and the it looks little diffrent shape.almost most looks like its sinking in.is that possible? does this warrant calling doctor?

Yes definitely. It can be wound dehiscence, wound infection, stomal varices or simply gut infection.
