Will Kliovance Help To Reduce Peri Menopausal Symptoms?

Hi, I am 46 old going through peri menopause with severe hot flushes, night sweats and feel very depressed. It s driving me insane. After trying natural remedies like black kohosh (didn t help), my GP has prescribed a low dose of Kliovance. I m nervous about taking HRT because my grand mother had breast cancer. Kliovance is also supposed to be for post menopausal woman. Am I getting the right medication? Thank you.

Hi.

You are, any HRT will help suppress the symptoms so do not worry about thay. As for using the HRTs long term, you can choose to discontinue them once you get through the difficult part and from there on just hope and pray you do not have trouble with menopause.
