Hi,

Fusidic cream is a bacteriostatic antibiotic used to treat infections. Small amount this antibiotic entering into the vagina, may not lead to big problems. But if the quantity is more that can affect the local vaginal flora.

What can you do is clean the vagina with lukewarm water or preferably vaginal wash with pH 3.4 to 4.5. This work up the local vaginal pH can be restored and side effects can be prevented. You can continue the wash instead of soap or some antiseptic solution to maintain regular personal hygiene.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
