Why Would I Have Abdominal Pain And Tingling Sensation During Pregnancy?

I am 30 weeks pregnant. Yesterday it felt like I had menstral cramps that went way sometime in the middle of the night. Today I have twenges in my lower right abdominal area (twinges that feel like little fingers tickling me inside or butterflies let on the war path). Can someone please explain this to me.

Hi, I have gone through your problem. Pain like menstrual cramps in pregnancy can be a sign of preterm labor( labor before 37 weeks of pregnancy). The twenges you are feeling may be simply the fetal movement, especially of its fingers and toes. I would suggest you to consult with your OBGYN specialist so that she can look for other signs and symptoms of preterm labor and keep you under observation, if needed.
