Why Was There No Bleeding After Taking Unwanted Kit For Abortion?
i hv misperiod 2 days,i checked out using prega sure n i found that its +ve.so i want to terminate my pregnency.i m using unwanted kit.today i hv taken 1 pill.as per my doctors advise my period ll start on d same day of taking pill.bt till now i hv nt found any period sings.plz suggest me

Mifepristone followed by misoprostol is the safe and effective method for terminating early ( up to 9 week) intrauterine pregnancy (USG before using pill is needed). It should be taken under expert guidance of gynecologist. In this method mifepristone is followed by misoprostol after 24-48 hours. Taking one tablet (mifepristone) cause detachment of implantation product from the uterus but does not cause bleeding/period. Misoprostol that cause uterine contraction and cervical ripening causes expulsion of implantation product and bleeding.So you have to take misoprostol tablet (another two tablet)under the guidance of gynecologist. If bleeding will not start again you have to take two tablet to induce the bleeding.This method cause excessive bleeding, incomplete abortion and ectopic pregnancy like uncontrollable complication so always take according to dosage and schedule provided by by gynecologist under supervision. Bleeding may remain upto 3-4 days like slight more than period. Follow up USG at 14 th day to know complete process of abortion.
Use safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies in future.
