Why There Is No Sign Of Abortion After Taking Misoprostal?
dear doctor, I am 24 years old. my last periods was on 9th of may. on 13th june I ve tested through prega news and this shows two red lines...one dark and one little light. I ve taken miferstine on 15th june evening at aound 3:45 pm and then kept 4 misoprostal vaginally at 6:45 on 16th june. till this time there is no sign of bleeding. though I m feeling little cramps. should I repeat the course??

Medical abortion pill should be used under the proper guidance and supervision of the gynecologist. You did the pregnancy test which is showing slight positive result: it may be due to you did very early, ectopic pregnancy and missed abortion. Before taking pills USG is needed to confirm intrauterine pregnancy and age of pregnancy because medical termination shold be done up to 9 week of pregnancy. Misoprostol dose should be modified under the supervision of gynecologist. You should take another two dose of 800 mcg (4 tablet) every 6 hourly vaginally or orally. But never try byself as it cause excessive bleeding and severe cramp. Consult the gynecologist or registered medical practitioner. Bleeding generally start within 1-2 hour after last dose and abortion process finished in 3-4 days. But no bleeding in your case may be due to : inadequate dose or ectopic pregnancy. So either wait one day for bleeding if not come consult the gynecologist. Post abortion USG is mandatory after 14 day of taking pill.
Proper rest, healthy diet , analgesic and mantian pelvic hygiene
