Why There Is Bleeding During Bowel Movements?

hi,
I'm 16 years old and for the past week or so i've been seeing bright red blood in the toilet when i have a bowel movement. i don't have bowel movements often and my doctor thinks that its just because of constipation and after i started taking benefiber, the beleeding went away. I stopped and i havent pooped in about 4 days. I just peed and there was a tiny bit of blood in the toilet and a bit on the tissue, I'm a girl

Hi..you are an young girl who is constipated and has bleeding per rectum .You have not mentioned about the pain when passing stools possibly you have no remarkable pain .I guess bleed is also not very severe because you have not mentioned severe bleed in the first episode and you had no giddiness.Second bleed was minimal and you have mentioned it.As your doctor suggested continue stool softener include more fibre in your diet and drink plenty of water.If constipation continues probably we need to investigate the cause for it.Take care.
