Why There Is A Pain On Shoulder And Neck Area During Pregnancy?

i m 6 weeks pregnant.i had a blood clot last month and periods too.1st day of my periods is 23 oct.but expected date was 19 oct.mostly i had irregular period cycle.embryo isnt round but be flat.i had pain in left shoulder and neck area.tell me what is it?

Hi,
I understand your concerns. Pin in left shoulder and neck should be taken seriously especially in pregnancy. I advise you an ECG, and heart enzymes to rule out any heart related problems as they cause left sided pain. If embryo is flat then chances of a live good pregnancy is unlikely . Do a serum Beta HCG and repeat a sonography after 1 week. Follow up with us with reports.
