Why My Wife Has No Periods Even After Taking MTP Kit ?
my wife had period from Ist June to 6th june 2011 than v had our first contact on 3rd july2011 only. she had not had date in this period we checked on 9th july through strip it was negative but again on doctors advise we checked on 19 th july it was positive. she had taken mtp kit first medicne on 19th night but still not having any bleeding what can be the cause? Please help by repying we have not gone for any ultra sound till the moment thanks and regards

last period on 6th june and ist sex on 3rd july can cause pregnancy if she has delayed ovulation
mtp kit is to be taken as per instruction and to follow the time specified
process may take 2-4 days time
if not having any pain bleeding etc consult your doctor and get evaluated and advice

If the pregnancy test done second time is positive then your wife is pregnant.The MTP kit contains 5 tablets and the bleeding will not happen after the first tablet ;it will happen after taking the second course of tablets.But you should take these medicines under guidance of your doctor as there can be few side effects of these medicine.Please consult your doctor today for the further course of treatment.During the course of MTP kit you have to keep a proper follow up with your Gynaec so that if there is any complication like excess bleeding the Gynaec can deal with it and if needed do a D&C.Do an ultrasound on 9 th of Aug to find out whether the abortion is complete or not.
