Why My Son Is Passing Green Coloured Stool?

Hi!! My son is 7 yrs old, and he is G6PD deficient. He has been discharging green colored stools for the past 5 days say for the minimum 8 times a day also with fever and vomiting. First one peditrician recommended ofloxacin 100mg syrup 10 ml twice a day for 5 days starting sunday. then we checked up and saw that it had quinolone which is not recommeded for G6PD def patients. but his fever and vomiting had reduced. Then he has started zifi 100mg 7ml twice a day for 5 days. he has already been given his dosage for today, ie monday. but his stool is still greenish and he has passed stool 6 times today... will is get ok with zifi 100??

Pediatrician 's  Response
I think you are from India, where doctors routinely administer strong antibiotics for simple illnesses without any stool tests or other investigations. If I am correct, then there is no harm in continuing Zifi (cefixime) for a total of six days. It should work.
