Why My Father Is Having Trouble In Urination?

My dad is admitted to hospital. he was vomiting all night and had diarrhoea , unable to pass urine. Doctors have attached the urine bag now to ease urination but that is painful for him also he is still not able to eat anything. They are giving him antibiotic injections and strong pain killers. But they have not done any urine or blood tests. Is this right treatment?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. He may have infection in urine. He should go for complete blood count, urine routine examination, blood sugar test and ultrasound abdomen. Then he should take treatment accordingly. He may have benign prostatic hyperplasia with urine infection.
After these tests he should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
