Why Is My Sons Leg Swollen With A Knot On The Back Of His Calf Above The Ankle ?
hello, my son is 15 about 6 3, 275 lbs. picked him up today and noticed his leg was swollen very badly. upon asking what happened was told the following, while in the pool he was playing around with his siblings and heard a pop . now his leg is swollen and there is a knot on the back of his calf above the ankle. what did he do and how bad is it.

take him to a doctor as ther might b internal bleeding.till then immobilize his leg n keep feet raised above body level.he needs to get an xray done to rule out fracture or soft tissue injury.
