Why Is My Child Tested Positive For Flu Even After Taking A Course Of Omnicef For Fever?

my son is 6 yrs old and tested positive for the flu. After a week of high fevers, 102.00 he was put on omnicef for 10 days since they suspected a secondary infection. Advil and Tylenol was not working on his fever. Since he finished the omnicef last Monday he has been very tired all day. Could this be the result of the flu, the medicine, or something else?

If he is a case of viral infection then why omnicef was advised that could be the cause of weakness in ur child,but since running fever needs complete fever profile then accordingly he needs management
