Why Is My Body Extremely Warm To The Touch?

Hi so I m just curious about this. I always feel warm-to-the-touch to people, as in to the point they are always surprised at how warm I am. However I also personally feel cold really, really easily but I can do pretty fine in warm weather. I m 170cm and weigh 50 kilos so I m pretty skinny. I don t work out or anything either so I don t get much in the way it exercise. Why do I generate so much body heat and feel cold really easily?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It might be good in your case to have your thyroid checked as it might affect the metabolism and cause you to be sensitive to cold or heat and may also affect your weight. Checking TSH and FT4 is advised to make sure your thyroid is functioning properly.

I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
