Why Is Fnac Showing Negative For Malignancy?

two months back i did fnac in a lab x . in the result it was positive for koch s lymphadenitis. then i did mantoux test , it also showed positive. then i started treatment, now after undergoing two months of treatment out of six month of complete treatment, again i did fnac , it is showing negative for malignancy. why?

Thanks for writing in.

The term positive for kochs lymphadenitis means you might be having tuberculosis. You have to take treatment for few months as the condition is chronic and regular medications taken for 6 to 12 months can cure it. The repeat FNAC shows negative for malignancy which means there are no cancer cells. TB and cancer are entirely different conditions and lymphnodes can have either of two conditions which need to be differentiated. The repeat FNAC report says that you have no cancer.
