Why Is Doctor Worried About Separation At 9 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Hello,

I am 9 weeks pregnant. In my ultrasound doctor found a 2.13 cm by 0.63 cm choriodecidual separation. I have had no bleeding though. I have been advised bedrest and duphaston, susten medicines. Is there need to worry about effect on baby? I feel the space would fill out once baby grows but doctor is worried about the separation.

Hi, welcome to healthcare magic forum. In understand your query as well concern. After going through your history it seems that there is chances of bleeding or sometimes miscarriage (may or may not) as scan report shows choriodecidual separation.

In my opinion whether you are having bleeding or not, follow the instruction of your doctor. Take strict bed rest and continue the medicines prescribed by your doctor.

It may become OK after some days. No need to worry much.
Wish you good health & good luck.

Thanks.
