Why Is Cough Still Persistent Inspite Of Taking Bocarex And Odoxil?

Sir-
My son( 3yrs 11months) has having cold and cough for almost 2 days now and the last 12 hours he has been coughing every 15 seconds. Really hard coughs. Our doctor has prescribed bicarex, lowtemp and odoxil 250DT and additionally he has asked us to give puf(asthalin+budecort) two times a day...
The problem is the cough is still there. Please help.

Thanks for asking query on health care magic.
When he is not responding to this treatment, you may try DMP3 to control cough and cold as it contains a antihistaminic as well as a cough suppressant for 3-4 days.
If no improvement better consult pediatrician for thorough investigation and management of the case.
